Life in the Alps..

Uncle Larry passed away on the evening of September 2nd. He will be greatly missed. His obituary says it well "Anyone who met Larry is a better person because they knew him."

Here are a few updates/events that have been going on over here in Switzerland.. They are not in order, but here they are!
Happy Birthday Kenzie on August 20th!

Jelle and I met when he was here with his friends as a tourist, he came back to visit last week! We had a fun time hiking, playing games and just hanging out!

------------------------------------------------
I went shopping in Milano Italy for the day.. Didn't get a ton of pics, but here are a few!

The Milan train station..
I wanted to ride one of these but wasn't quite sure how to do it. I stared at the directions for a good 10 minutes and then figured I should probably just stick to the sidewalks.

No matter where you are in the world.. One thing is for certain, they have a Mickey D's!

-----------------------------
I went to a YSA Sport Camp August 2-6th. It was in Switzerland had 600 Young Single Adults from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

I have met some incredible people since I've been here.. Let me introduce you to a few:
Kate (pictured above):
She is a doll, served a mission in Provo, Utah..
Such a good friend, the first time I met her I felt right at home!
She lives in downtown Bern and makes me laugh, all the time!

Ruedi Brawand:
This is Mandel and Kenzie's cousin, he lives in the same house.
Loves to make people laugh.
Loves to sing and dance.
Can beat me in Phase 10 with his eyes closed.

The Kaufmann Family:
Mandel..
Loves to tease me.
Thinks it is hilarious when we are walking and he puts grass on
my neck or arm or something so I think it's a bug.
Works hard as a Carpenter building incredible Swiss Chalet's and loves to be outdoors.

Kenzie:
One of the most incredible people I've ever met!
She is a great mother and wife and I look up to her a ton..
Loves to laugh, we are always giggling about something just because "we like it!"

Hayden:
Dancing King!
Loves his blanket, binky and Dingy!
He can almost out eat me.. Loves food.
And has the cutest little cheeks ever!

Bode Man:
Loves to trick people.
Recently has started calling me "Megaroo"
Took the bus for the first time to school today! Such a big boy!
Loves dinosaurs and animals.. And is SO smart.

Jelle de Beucker:
Hate pictures.. Ha.
Loves to snowboard, the mountains and old cars.
Lives in Belgium..
And is one of the funniest, nicest boys I know!
----------------------------------
This is my new friend Roman and crazy Ruedi who is absolutely hilarious. We went out on the town Saturday, crazy night.

Ruedi had to pry his eyes open -- every picture he had his eyes closed.
